EJBCA 7.3.1 Upgrade Notes

Below are important changes and requirements when upgrading from EJBCA 7.3 to EJBCA 7.3.1. For upgrade instructions and information on upgrade paths, see Upgrading EJBCA. For details of the new features and improvements in this release, see the EJBCA 7.3.1 Release Notes. 

Database Changes

Being a minor release, EJBCA 7.3.1 features no database changes. If upgrading from 7.2.1 or earlier versions of EJBCA, the changes are the same as for EJBCA 7.3.

Behavioral Changes

Certificate Transparency Compliance

A change was made for compliance with CA/B Forum Baseline Requirements. In the case when insufficient SCTs are retrieved from Certificate Transparency logs and no final certificate is issued, EJBCA will now store the precertificate in the CertificateData table (in addition to audit logging it) and respond to OCSP queries with status "good".
