COMMUNITY EDITION DECEMBER 2022

The SignServer team is pleased to announce the newest release of our open-source signing software SignServer Community Edition with version 5.11 and thank each and every SignServer contributor for your work in getting us here.

These release notes cover new SignServer Community features and improvements implemented between SignServer Community 5.10 and SignServer Community 5.11.

This community release introduces Debian package signing. The release also includes a refreshed SignServer Community UI and upgrades Bouncy Castle to version 1.72.

Highlights

Debian package signing 

SignServer Community now supports signing of Debian packages using the dpkg-sig format and OpenPGP keys, which was previously only available in SignServer Enterprise Edition. Refreshed UI

SignServer Community now features a Keyfactor branded user interface and its color scheme distinguishes it from SignServer Enterprise Edition.

Bouncy Castle upgraded to 1.72

This SignServer Community release upgrades Bouncy Castle to version 1.72.

SignServer Community releases follow the release schedule for the Enterprise Edition, including all major and feature releases.
