The PKD Interface allows adding a PKD Version attribute to the LDAP query filter to increase the control over object download and allows downloading only the most recent entries from ICAO PKD.

PrimeKey NPKD controls the Local PKD Version stored in the following two configuration options:

  • Scheduler Local PKD Version available on the PKD Scheduler configuration page: The local PKD Version used for downloading objects. That is, the value is added to the LDAP query filter during download operations. The configuration may be modified by an Operator user if for example, a re-download of previously imported objects is required. See Scheduler
  • Local PKD Version available on the ICAO LDAP configuration page: The local PKD Version automatically calculated by checking the PKD Version attributes of all non-ignored objects in NPKD. This configuration may be modified by an Administrator if needed (which should not be expected). Note that this value can be re-calculated by the PKD Scheduler task Update Local PKD Version run by an Operator user, even though the value cannot be set directly by the Operator user.

It is recommended to use the PKD Scheduler task Update Local PKD Version to configure and automatically calculate the Local PKD Version value. For more information, see Scheduler.
